Terms and conditions

Rights of the Store Owner

  • Delight customers by supporting them to create and implement great ideas and have a good time
  • Accept, deny, add or remove BrainStore Partners or BrainStore Members to your store team
  • Edit the store description and store image
  • Create, add and remove products to your store
  • Create, add or remove milestones, case studies, and tools to your store
  • Create and manage offers to your store
  • Use the store email address and store URL
  • Transfer Store Owner role to any other team member (who must be a Partner)
  • You get access to the Site Manager and the Offers engine and you can grant this right to other BrainStore Partners in your store

Obligations of the Store Owner

1) Pursue BrainStore's purpose and act according to the BrainStore Code of Conduct with your store's activity
2) Adhere to local rules and regulations
3) Respect the reserved customers list (making sure that customers are not contacted by multiple BrainStores at the same time).
4) Apply the Pay-What-You-Wish principle with your customers
5) Respect the BrainStore brand identity
6) Reflect on the value the BrainStore network provided to your store at the end of every cycle, ideally with the store team, and set a price for the cycle. There is no minimum fee
7) Share the store's revenue summary and information on how you delighted customers after every cycle - details can be found here
8) Share information from 6) and 7) with the network champs the network champs within two days after the cycle is completed. Details can be found [here]
9) Pay the store invoice within 10 days after receiving it (if you take over the Store Owner role during a cycle you are also responsible for paying the store invoice of this cycle)

Opening a store

1) You can apply for a new store here.
2) After completing the application you can add products, offers, milestones, case studies and team members to your store
3) The application will be reviewed by the network champs.
4) Your store will be activated by the network champ(s)

Temporarily disabling a store

You can temporarily disable your store at any time – e.g. if you are on a leave. You can do so in your store settings.

Closing a store

You can close a store at any time

  • Please remove any team members from your store before closing it
  • Please remove any open offers from your store before closing it
  • If you close your store during a cycle you will still have to provide the cycle feedback for the current cycle

Non compliance

  • Non-compliance with your commitment will lead to your store being deactivated, disabled, or deleted.
  • In case of disagreement, both parties agree to try to solve the issue in an open and transparent form or to solve the issue with the support of an independent third party of mutual choice. Place of jurisdiction is Biel/Bienne Switzerland.

Auditing

The Network Partners or a person appointed by the Network Partners can request a third-party auditing company to make sure that local rules and regulations are fulfilled and data provided is correct at any time. The costs for the audit are paid by the network
